Connie Lynne St. Gelais

Connie Lynne St. GelaisConnie Lynne (Shepard) St. Gelais, age 48, died at her home in Phoenix, Arizona on February 8th, 2013. The cause was natural, brought on by complications from Diabetes.

Born March 5th 1964 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, she grew up in Rochester, Vermont. She attended Rochester High School where she was a member of the 1982 Vermont State Division 4 softball champions, the Lady Rockets. In 1985 Connie got married to Scott St. Gelais and gave birth to their first child, Stephanie St. Gelais. Later that year, Connie moved to Phoenix with her husband and daughter. She gave birth to their second child, Brittany St. Gelais, in 1989.

Connie worked in various fields for years until being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 1999. After that, Connie developed quite the passion for cooking and learned to play the piano. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and connecting with family and friends on Facebook.

Survivors include her husband Scott St. Gelais, daughters Stephanie St. Gelais and Brittany St. Gelais, granddaughter Caylee Rose St. Gelais, parents Richard and Donna Shepard, brothers Michael Shepard and Raymond Shepard and sister Michele Shepard.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at her home. Relatives and friends are welcome at the gathering.

    Scott, Connie will soar with the angels now!  She is no longer suffering and can be healthy and whole in God's hands.
